Little Laxers (K-2nd Grade)The Tribe Lacrosse Little Laxers program is designed to provide an entry point for the sport of lacrosse to both boys and girls in the K-2nd grade levels. Little Laxers is entirely devoted to teaching the fundamentals of lacrosse to children just getting started, in a no pressure, fun atmosphere. We focus on the basics including how to hold a stick, scooping ground balls, foot work, throwing, and catching, all while masking the learning process with lots of fun games! From time to time there will also be water balloons, popsicles, and any other shenanigans we can come up with. Little Laxers practice for one hour.
Boys (2nd - 9th Grade)
The Fall boys program is designed to introduce new players to the sport in a relaxed, non-competitive environment, and foster player development and skills improvement for experienced players. Boys are generally separated into three groups: 2nd-4th grade, 5th-6th grade, and 7th-9th grade. Practices are generally two hours.
Girls (3rd - 8th Grade)
The Fall girls program is designed to introduce new players to the sport in a relaxed, non-competitive environment, and foster player development and skills improvement for experienced players. Fall Ball training sessions will help girls develop the fundamental skills that will prepare them for the competitive Spring season. Girls are generally separated into two groups: 3rd-5th grade and 6th-8th grade. Practices are generally two hours.
